About the Committee

The Joint  Commissioning Committee of  the Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Groups ('the Committee') was a meeting of the four CCGs of Cheshire:

It was set up to manage the activities of the four CCGs as within its delegated responsibilities. The Annual Workplan of the Committee can be found by CLICKING HERE or as a download to the right of the screen.

The Committee had the primary purpose of enabling the CCG members to work effectively together to collaborate and take joint decisions. Individual CCGs that constituted the membership of the Committee always remained accountable for meeting their statutory duties.

Meetings of the Committee

Meetings of the Committee were held in public but were not public meetings. Members of the public were invited to listen to the Committee's discussions, observe the decision-making process and had the opportunity to formally raise a question to the Committee within the Public Speaking Section of the meeting.
