Be Clear on Breast Cancer

A lump isn't the only sign of breast cancer

1 in 3 women who get breast cancer are over the age of 70 and a national campaign will run from the 3rd February through to 16th March 2014 to urge women over the age of 70 to get checked out. 

Signs and Symptoms

Possible symptoms of breast cancer include:

  • A lump in your breast or armpit
  • Nipple changes
  • Changes to the skin of your breast
  • Changes in the shape or size of your breast
  • Pain in your breast or armpit

If yourself, a friend or relative have any of these symptoms go and see your Doctor.

Checking your breasts is as easy as TLC:

Touch: your breasts - can you feel anything unusual?

Look: for changes. Is there any change in shape or texture

Check: anything unusual with your Doctor
