Cheshire and Merseyside Clinical Strategic Network encourages people to join the People's Voice network.....
28 February 2014

Cheshire and Merseyside Strategic Clinical Network are looking for people's views to help them make improvements at a regional level for NHS England.

Strategic Clinical Networks are networks which bring together health professionals, NHS commissioners, patients, carers and communities to look at the following areas:

  • Cancer
  • Cardiovascular - heart, kidneys, diabetes, stroke
  • maternity, children and young people's services
  • mental health, dementia and neurological conditions for example, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis
  • Palliative and End of Life Care

The network wants to ensure that the voices of patients, carers and the public are at the centre of everything that they do. They need to listen carefully to the people who use  and have experienced local health and care services to help make improvements as and where necessary.

Cheshire and Merseyside Strategic Clinical Network are setting up a "People's Voice" network which will be at the heart of this work. They want to include patients, carers, members of the public, patient groups, carer groups, voluntary and community sector organisations and other healthcare organisations to come together to improve health outcomes for everyone in Cheshire and Merseyside.

By working together, the Strategic Clinical Network will be able to work in a more coordinated and organised way making the best use of participant's skills, experience and time and they need your help to make this a reality in Cheshire and Merseyside.
