  • care and support for adults and children
  • living independently
  • education, employment and money matters
  • looking after someone
  • services for people aged 0- 25 with special educational needs or disabilities
  • staying safe.

Caring for someone with dementia

Dementia affects more than 570,000 people in England, and one in six people over the age of 80. It mainly impacts older people, although around 12,500 people under 65 display symptoms. This is known as early-onset dementia.
