Consultation and Engagement

Your opinions count! NHS Eastern Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group believes that the involvement of local people in our decision making is essential for effective and appropriate commissioning (buying and monitoring) of health services.

We are committed to commissioning the best healthcare for the population that we serve and we recognise that we can only do this if we build strong relationships with, listen and learn from other commissioning organisations, the providers of the services that we commission and – importantly – the citizens (patients, carers, communities) that we commission on behalf of.

We would like to hear from you so that together we can work towards and ensure that better health and care services are available to meet local needs. We have tried to make it as easy as possible for everyone to talk to us and have outlined a number of different ways in which you can contact us so as to tell us your views, your concerns, any complaints or compliments, your ideas and your experiences of health and care services.

We are guided by a Communications and Engagement Advisory Panel made up of  active supporters of the independent HealthVoice patient and carer reference group. The panel offers advice on reaching out effectively to our communities. Click here to read the panel's terms of reference.

Please note that this site is for understanding local views. For privacy reasons, please do not submit any health-related questions via this site. If you have a question about your health, please contact your GP Practice or local Pharmacy for support.

care opinion

Care Opinion is an independent site where anyone can share their stories of adult social care or the NHS. The site covers adult social services (as well as NHS services) in England, giving service users, their families and carers the opportunity to publish their personal experiences, good or bad, of the care system. Care Opinion is part of Patient Opinion which covers health services. So you will find plenty of stories about your local health service on Care Opinion. It doesn’t matter whether your story is about social care or the NHS - just share what happened to you and we will do our best to make sure the right people in both health and social care get to read it.

The NHS website also allows you to share your experiences of almost any NHS service.
